Save the date! The Great Indoors 2009 will take place from 27 - 29 November.

The first edition of The Great Indoors Award proved to be a big success. This year we're back for a second edition!

The 2009 edition of The Great Indoors has the same ambitions as the previous edition and tries, with the help of an international award, a series of workshops and lectures, to stimulate the social debate on the growing importance of interior design.

The Great Indoors has the intention to provide the interior designer with a platform of some stature, as well as to prompt debate and disburse information on interior design. The aim is to reward work of excellence and, at the same time, to show this work to the world. We hope to motivate and convince potential clients from both the private and the public sectors. Above all else, we want The Great Indoors to give the profession of interior design the status and position it deserves; with The Great Indoors Award and The Great Indoors Workshops & Lectures.

The actual event, The Great Indoors weekend, takes place from 27 to 29 November 2009. In this weekend the winners will be awarded during a festive award show (on the eve of 28 November) and results of the workshops are shown to the public and our nominees.
