The Great Indoors Award 2009
The Great Indoors Award 2009 – a biennial, international interior design award – is calling for submissions.

Giving recognition to the best interior design worldwide, on a biennial basis, is a good way to celebrate the importance of superlative (realized) projects and to raise the overall quality of interior design.

The Great Indoors Award will honour interior design projects in five categories.
This year’s edition of The Great Indoors Award will evolve around the notion of "Changing Ideals".

The Great Indoors Award 2009 invites designers, architects and clients to show if and how our perspectives have changed and altered interior design and the way our projects have materialized.
Please enter the competition by filling in the registration form.

Eligible for entry are all nonresidential interior designs and installations in the categories Show & Sell (retail); Relax & Consume (leisure); Concentrate & Collaborate (work) and Serve & Facilitate (public) that were realized between September 2007 and August 2009.
Architects and designers can also enter the Interior Design Firm of the Year Award.

A submission consists of one interior design or one portfolio.
Every registration form requires an application fee of €100 (incl. VAT).
Applicants wishing to submit more than one design must fill out separate registration forms and pay a separate registration fee for each submission.

Out of all entries an international jury will select a winner for each of the four categories and the winner of the Interior Design Firm of the Year. The winner of each category will receive a prize of €5.000; the Interior Design Firm of the Year will receive €10.000. In each of these categories, five nominees will be selected and invited to attend the award ceremony at the cost of the organization.
The award ceremony will be part of The Great Indoors program, a three day event in Maastricht, (the Netherlands) on 27, 28 & 29 November 2009.

Registration closes on 15 September 2009
