After evaluating all competition entries, a national nominating committee selected four or five nominees in each of the five categories. These short lists were presented to the international jury whose members chose to look at all the entries as a group of projects and a group of firms, and awarded four prizes to outstanding projects and one prize for the Firm of the Year.

The nominating committee met mid-September 2007.

Judging took place on 4 + 5 October 2007.
