FRAME

Launched in December 1997, Frame is the world’s leading international trade magazine featuring interior and product design. Frame fuses British and American journalism with the aesthetic flair of an Italian publication. The bimonthly publication addresses interior designers, architects and product designers, as well as their clients. Frame is part of Frame Publishers BV.

Marres, Centre for Contemporary Culture

Marres occupies a spacious gallery in an 18th-century mansion in Maastricht. The cultural centre invites artists from the Netherlands and abroad to exhibit their work on the premises. The emphasis lies on the presentation of new developments in the international world of contemporary art. Marres’s programme of exhibitions, video shows, lectures, performances and debates is intended to stimulate discourse among artists, intermediaries and public.

Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAi) Maastricht

The Maastricht branch of the NAi is in a new building adjacent to the Bonnefanten Museum; both are on Avenue Céramique. With its 1,400 m2 of exhibition space, NAi Maastricht sees itself as a showcase and as an experimental laboratory for new types of spatial design. A semi-permanent exhibition presents the designed environment and its origins. Temporary shows have featured current developments in the fields of architecture, urban planning and design in the ‘Euregion’. NAi Maastricht is part of the Netherlands Architecture Institute, which is based in Rotterdam.
