The Great Expectations:
The Great Indoors Education Programme 2009

By organizing a series of workshops, master classes and lectures, The Great Indoors hopes to promote a discussion on the growing importance of interior design and by doing so to have a stimulating effect on education, on the function of the client and on the position/role of the designer.

The Great Expectations was the 2009 edition of the Education Programme. It consisted of 5 groups of talented Masters students from the EU Region, who worked on a commission from a Maastricht entrepreneur to create a public interior. These interiors were realized in the city and could be visited during The Great Indoors 2009 weekend. The best design was awarded with The Great Expectations Award and a trip to Milan. The judges were the Nominees of the 2009 edition.
